If you have experienced tragedy, loss, rejection…just cry. It’s ok. It’s Mother’s Day again, like a chasm ripped across the landscape of a happy year. Cry till your head hurts and your mascara disappears. It’s ok. Be broken. Grieve. Feel the absence. Tomorrow…you will be better and the hardest thoughts will be allowed to recede into faded memory…you will be able to see the good things again.
My heart is with you as I pull the blankets up to my eyeballs and I only come out for my box of tissues.
